Our Approach to

Agile Mentoring...

As we face an unprecedented amount of complexity in the work we perform, you may be discovering that old solutions are not solving your current problems. Solutions that worked at a previous organization may not translate to the one you work at now. In fact, solutions that worked yesterday at your organization may no longer work today. Oftentimes, a simple internet search, book, or video will not help you determine what the next best move to make is in your work. Whether you are new to agile or have been working in this way for years, you have likely encountered situations where you just don’t quite know what to do to make things better for you, your team, and your organization. In these circumstances, working with a skilled mentor can offer the additional perspectives and expertise that can help you determine how to proceed.

Over the past decade, we have served as mentors and coaches for hundreds of Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, RTEs, Enterprise Coaches, Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, HR professionals, and Managers at all levels of organizations. Regardless of role or experience level, if you are currently working in an agile environment a TBDAgile Mentor will have something to offer.

What to expect

At its most basic, a TBDAgile mentoring session is an hour long conversation held remotely via Zoom. Due to the ever-changing nature of your work, no two mentoring sessions will be exactly alike. Typically, you will arrive at the session with an issue, topic, or situation that you would like to discuss and work through. This may be something that is coming up in your work in the near future, something in the past that didn’t go the way you wanted it to, or something you are in the middle of currently. Over the course of the hour, you will receive advice, guidance, and will likely be offered some resources (such as books, models, theories), practices (techniques to explore to address your issue), support and feedback from an experienced coach and mentor, in service of helping you navigate the situations you are facing in your work.

When purchased individually, each hour-long session costs $250 USD. If you are interested in multiple sessions, a 5-session package can be purchased at a discounted rate of $1,000 USD. With this option, you will have 12 months from the date of purchase to use the sessions.

How to get started

To book a mentoring session, use the links at the top of this page.

If you haven’t worked with us in the past, and would like to get to know us, the first step is to book a chemistry meeting with a mentor. This call will give you a chance to meet a potential mentor, ask questions, and learn more about the mentoring process. You are more than welcome to set up chemistry calls with one or both of our coaches and mentors to help you determine who would be a good fit for your needs.

To book a chemistry session, use the links above and select 'Chemistry Meeting' on the landing page.
